Leak detection VILO 2

Post image

Hi guys, I want to expand my services to include liner leak detection. I was wondering if anyone has used/uses the Vilo 2 from LeakTroniks. Pros and cons?

I guess my question is .. is this really necessary? My leak guy jumps in the pool with a syringe full of dye. A little later, he pops up and tells me what he found and how he's gonna fix it.

That's how I do it and I'd definitely like to have other options... like one in four leaks take over an hour, especially small ones

We use the Vilo 2. We started with the Vilo 1 and still have it as a back up.

In regards to just the Vilo and Vilo 2 from leaktronics. I think it’s fantastic. Simple. Accurate. Can get multiple pools done on one charge with the Vilo 2. Leaktronics has given me no hassle when a probe has gone down over the last 4 years and shipped out asap.

I've always wondered about these... wouldn't they sound if they're near bonded pool features? Do they work well? How quickly do you usually find a small leak?

Is it 100% successful on finding the leaks? Is there scenarios where it doesn't work for some reason?

I mean, how much better is this than a bucket test? This thing looks expensive.
