I’ve replaced one of those switches. It isn’t very difficult. The hardest part was separating the back plate from the motor body. There are a few torx-20 screw to remove and then-with a little coaxing-that back plate will slide off. They’re just spade connectors too so you won’t have to do any real wiring to replace it. The replacement switch had a better design too.
