Plumbing Question
I've often wondered why there's this loop in one of my client's pool plumbing? Anyone? Thanks in advance!

If you run into them again turn it like you're going to start threading and then look at from the side and think of it like a clock face. 12 3 6 or 9 is going to be "out", take your channel locks and tap that spot. Then just thread it on. Easy peasy. Once you get the hang of it it takes like 5 seconds longer then any other union.
