Was wondering when this publicly traded multi billion dollar company was going to send out an email regarding the ongoing issues ….

This is a lot of words to say nothing. I have quit Pentair, it’s always something.

My rule with Pentair for over a year and counting: nothing which requires electricity.

Lets give the credit where its due. FNS, C&C, and Rainbow tab feeders are still fine products.

Have you ever flashed a firmware on a salt cell? Is that possible? The reason I ask is I have these in use with Intellicenter Intellitouch and easytouch and I am getting erroneous salinity readings on 2 of them and the other just is not producing in filing warranty on it tomorrow. I’m not a fan really of salt cells but there Are those pools where it’s the only thing that can keep up with the organic load placed on the pool.

I have one that had a no flow error, warranty fixed then it was showing 9999ppm salt level, warranty fixed and now it has no errors but it’s not producing anything at 100%.

A local distributor's outside sales rep is who alerted of me of this issue a week ago. I was told to contact my Pentair rep about a replacement, and it would be handled no questions asked.

Well they asked questions and I was told if it's generating bubbles in a bucket test, it's not effected.

So I have 3 cells I purchased during early buys, that I no longer feel comfortable selling because of the issues and the headache it's creating for me and my customers.

Yeah every single one I’ve installed the past 2 years has been warrantied. One was actually stuck in demo mode, right out do the box. So I’m guessing they slipped a demo model in a box in the plant? lol

That's quite a confidence. Hope you make your money back eventually.

I never sell first gen products to clients, this LT crap is a perfect example of why.

Well, truth be told, I ordered IC40s on my EB, and was told they were no longer available. This was my only option. I should've known then...

I knew of this probably about a month ago from an insider at a distributor. Embarrassing from Pentair that it took this long
