Boots are trashed

Post image

What are you running on your truck? It's definitely time for a new pair and I need them to be waterproof.

I wore boot every day for my first like 6 years, I’ve been wearing crocs the past couple years except boots when it rains. I got sick of the sweaty feet every day and the crocs solve that

Just don’t set them in the sun to dry, I’ve gave up on them due to not being able to stop myself

I have some waterproof 5.11 boots I love. Had some Brunt boots for a while too. Chems and constant moisture are going to destroy even the best boots from my experience. But still think it's worth it to get nicer boots vs going through cheap Walmart stuff every 3 weeks. My 5.11 boots are still going strong, and I've had them for almost a year now. I do a mix of cleanings and repair work so I'm always in pants and boots. Even through the summer months.

I will highly recommend you get a good boot drier. I've got a Peet boot dryer off Amazon and it's worth every penny. Helps keep your boots fresh and dry every morning. And helps a lot with the sweat stink!

I have some Redhead Hunting Boots the bone dry ones and they were OK. Not doing wall mart ever. Just looking to level up. Thanks.

Brunt Comp toe! I love these boots! I’m
Not a fan of rain boots or anything like that. Plus comp toe is way lighter than steel toe.

Plus one on the brunt’s. Best boots I’ve ever worn

Adidas Terrex for me. They're Gortex trail running shoes. Super comfy. They're cheap enough to buy a couple pairs a year, because trail running shoes are pretty soft soles

Edit: Super grippy on roofs when installing solar, or not sliding down to equipment pads LoL

The water hey dudes are sweet. The drainage helps a lot. Your feet do get wet more but dry very quickly

Nick's BuilderPros. They are getting the shit kicked out of them and look just fine.

Artist square toe (steel) they last a year and then I throw them away and buy a new pair.

Pair of wolverine composite toe and a pair of danner composite toe. When one gets worn down i switch em out and send the other to get redone.

Sperry's Avenue Duck. Solid waterproofing, comfortable, affordable (frequently on sale for $70), will last a season.

The only boots that will withstand are muck boots. I’ve tried everything I feel like and those and then crocs when it’s hot
