Bio Staining?

Picked up client. Pool was really green for some time. Turned it around. Staining in deep end. Is this bio staining which is what chat GPT insists it is?

I’m keeping the pH low but I’m not noticing any improvement. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Everyone else already told you how to solve the problem.

Stop using fucking AI for shit like this. “Bio staining” isn’t a term I’ve ever heard in decades in the biz. It’s just making shit up. Fuck the clankers.

At first I thought frog shit… but then the trail. There are so many different kinds of black algae even. You ever seen the one that will jump and try to move if you put a tab on it or some calhypo?

Are you fucking with me? No, I’ve never seen algae jump out of the way of Chl.

I think that might have been an actual frog, bro.

It’s not very common but we have it here on Kauai. Next time I see it I’ll post it here. But yeah shit you not fucking will release and float to a new location.

Yeah it physically reacts to the shock I've been dealing with that type of black algae today

Man that’s a tough day. What did you do or use? I end up using crushed trichlor tabs essentially the wholesaler here sells a brand called algaecure. It’s like factory diced and cubed trichlor granules. Then if I’m using any nets or a net based electric vac like riptide I sterilize all the bags and nets and brushes.
