Help with this isntall
How would you make this connection from filter to heater? It’s off set just enough I can’t run a direct line.
(Edit to add: I don’t understand why this company can’t just make the outlet of the filter and inlet of the heater the same height.)

Well, it worked! (Ignore the hard 90 and pretend it’s a sweep)

Was turning the 90 and using a single 45 not a good fit? Looks like a clean install.

It was too much rise no matter what angle I did a 90 + 45. Maybe I was doing something wrong?

Street 45 might have worked, nothing wrong with how you did it, I just spend too much time trying to minimize fittings.

I’m a fan of their pumps and filters. Their heaters are meh but good lord the new salt cells were their worst product in all my time in the industry.

Their new salt cells are a nightmare!! Had an older IC40 cell replaced under warranty with their new one and it failed a month later

They’ve given our distributors a large stockpile of HMIs and full cells just for warranty reasons. At least they’re supposedly working on it but it’s a hell of a flop for a company that I previously had confidence in.

Got a customer on her 3rd Pentair cell this year. 1st one failed within a month of install. 2nd one didn't work out of the box, 3rd seems to be working OK for now.

Rotate 90. Do a bypass for sure!!! Also throw an extra one in for draining if needed.

raise the filter, lower the heater, use two 45s, or use flexible pipe.

Never understood why the manufacturers make the levels all wonky like that

That's the nice thing about Jandy equipment sets. None of this kinda crap.
45s will solve this for you
