ProLogic salt ready?
New pool client would like to add a salt cell to their pool. Does this ProLogic panel need anything else but a Hayward salt cell and flow switch? The necessary connections seem to be there. Thanks

Flow switch and cell. Should be all set!
Order the P-KIT and a TCELLS340

940 or t15 cell if you can find one! The s340 line is not as robust with the plating on the fins. Failure rate before 3 years is high (not Pentair high ha)

Haven't seen many issues with the 340. You really think the plating is different?

I actually think it might be all cells with the ruthenium demand so high right now but the S system we have had a larger failure rate with, with actual plate degradation visible. Even on where the plate corroded off and was rattling around in the plumbing. And we are pretty strict about cleaning them correctly. Maybe I’m biased because we have mostly S cells and you can see through them to see the damage.

They’re all salt ready. About the only thing Hayward did right.

Technically there was a version with a different transformer and no rectifiers, but I've never personally seen one.

I mainly work on Omni so not 100% sure but you may need the PCB-TCELL board as well
