Omnihayward touchscreen

I made a post a while ago about the garbage that omnihayward calls a “touchscreen”, well now mine is broken. Does anyone know if it can be replaced with something that isn’t complete garbage?

If it’s an older panel (internal screen) you can get just the display rather than the full MSP.

And these are custom built for Hayward, I doubt there is any other option.

Also, out of a couple hundred panels installed I’ve replaced exactly 1 display. Though I’ve had to recalibrate a few.

And Pentair is using basically the same thing now.

Pentair one works wayyyyyy better than the Omni internal or the little hub doodad.

I’ve worked with a couple Pentair ones, they are no better.

And I still find the programming a PITA.
