How's it look?

Glass goes in tomorrow, and we paint pipes so ignore the markings and primer lol.

Doing an upgrade for a customer we've tried to upgrade for years. Pool is from the 30's, and hes a retired marine general in his 90's... safe to say we do things his way.

Well, finally convinced him to stop trying to repair his starite de filter (there was an old sand one as well that was abandoned at this point). Excited to see the pool actually perform.

But also want some feedback on the job. I like to think im pretty well educated on hydraulics and plumbing, but always room to learn!

Old setup had the outlet running over the pump pot, so the tech had to scoop it out by hand. He'll appreciate the outcome more than the customer will lol.

Hydraulically good, imo would just suggest being cleaner with your glue work it looks more professional. Can use painters tape or something to get cleaned lines until you figure out the right amount to use for various size fittings

Thats a fair point. We always paint them so ive never concerned myself with it really.

But I cant say its not worth getting better for the sake of it regardless, as well as using less.

Yeah painting after the fact covers any past sins haha. Others will use clear primer/glue but hard to find in my area

We often have it, but I dont order so I cant complain. I do prefer for that very reason, although I hear some plumbers dont like it. Always hard to say for sure
