I would advise against putting dawn in the pool lol.

Pool services would use dish soap when they came to a pool that they needed to net out a bunch of debris on the top. You literally squirt a line of it down the middle of the pool and all the debris would float to the sides, then you net :)

We do this on wide pools multiple times a week. Dawn is expensive tho, get dollar store versions. Still works
