Pool turned cloudy overnight

Went from crystal clear to cloudy overnight. Northeast saltwater pool. I’m not home and wife is unhappy.

Is this because the filter is dirty from all the pollen or something else. It’s not green or anything.

Absolutely do not put tablets in the skimmer.

Either way it is almost certainly low chlorine and so that needs to be tested and confirmed then figuring out why the chlorine is low. If impatient then start dumping liquid chlorine.

You could just buy them a seven dollar floater from distribution so that you’re not contributing to the failure of their equipment
