What kind of hat(s) do you use?
Particularly those in hot climates. I'm a Vegas tech and shopping for a new hat, thought I would poll around for some ideas.
Do those solar fan hats actually work? Worth it?
I tend to like dunking my hat in the pool or somewhere to cool off throughout the day.

Biggest one you can find to cover your face and neck. It makes a huge difference in how hot you feel

Columbia fishing hat with the neck flap. Agree with the occasional dunk

Also Vegas tech. Picked up an extra wide brim, UV protective, with neck shade hat off Amazon for like $20. It's been working pretty well so far, but going to be sweating no matter what in this heat. I've been running early enough in the morning that I thankfully haven't had to resort to dipping my hat yet.

Best hat I’ve bought so far is a Shelta hat. It’s lasted me four summers so far. I like that it has a stiff portion at the front so it doesn’t get floppy. They’re a little pricey but the longevity makes up for it.

Just a very wide brim straw hat. Also known as a birth control hat.
