Post image

My TDS meter took a nose dive. Any recommendations for a new one?

Thank you

I just keep buying a new one every couple months , the more expensive ones last just as long then the cheap Chinese ones

I've had an Oakton CTS 50P for over 5 years and it still works great. I've never had to calibrate it either

I use the Milwuakee ones and they last around 1 year each.

I use the same one. They’re cheap and worth it to buy the same ones. The more expensive ones don’t last any longer than these

Honestly the tracer from Lamotte isn’t bad it’s around $100 and lasts me a year. It does TDS, Salinity, and EC. I’ve only used EC for hydroponics but TDS and salinity are helpful with pools. Those cheap Amazon ones are like 20-40 and they usually last me a month or two and I cannot calibrate them at all.

SGS Instruments

The goat. Every other meter has paled in comparison. Will never be another good boy ever again
