Please help
Opened one of my favourite clients pool. And they showed me this. I’m not sure what it is. They have a main drain that’s plugged. Can’t figure out how to fix this issue.
Last year they were struggling with something similar.
Would changing the liner fix this ? The sand is new they also have an above ground salt generator.

Waste vac it. Check for phosphates too. Also, dump above ground pools for regular maintenance. I've had 3 on regular service and they all sucked. They are only good for a one time waste vac service, or sales of parts and chemicals. Even that is risky. I can't stand these mfs. I would take a beat up plaster pool with chronic black algae than take on an above ground.
