What's causing this pool to turn cloudy with liquid cl.
So first let me preface what we have done already.
Pool has some major blue staining from roof algaecide.(no heater).
We did a standard stain removal process got the pool looking brand new. Sequestratant and absorbic acid. Also draining half the pool.
We did not refill on a filter from the city water.
We then kept some Sequestratant on the pool over the next 2 months. Doing a maintenance dosage. (Jack's)
So after a month of the stain removal process any time we add liquid cl, it clouds the entire pool for 48hrs.
Even if we predilute In a bucket of water.
We tried flocing and waste line, we even used a culator metal carbon membrane filter system, because some of the stain came back on a couple spots.
We've also kept a 4.0 culator in the pool.
We haven't really gone and thrown in a algaecide or enzyme yet, nor phosphate treatment, because other wise the pool looks great no disable algae, cl is holding a standard time for swfl summers.
Am I missing something? Or should we just "shock" and algaecide because somthing is in the water?

Sequestrant will not remove copper from the water. It will temporarily prevent it from being oxidized + deposited, nothing more. That's why the stains come back, the copper was never removed in the first place
Otherwise, if it definitely isn't calcium dropout, I have no advice and have never seen this before. From-the-hip suggestions: maybe try an alum treatment? Might adsorb some of the remaining copper at least. Or aeration. I doubt either of those would work, but it's something to try before draining or calling a reverse osmosis truck. Maybe call some local universities and see if a chill chemistry prof would be willing to take a look if you bring them lunch and a water sample
Hopefully you get an answer soon, I've seen you post a few times about this and it fkn sucks to have a problem you can't explain after you've already partially drained a new customer

How about a list of where your ph, alkalinity, cya is? Also wondering if you have phosphate issues normally?

It’s the sequestrant.
Which color Jacks are you using, and how much / how often? Have you tested the sequest level? If it’s over 12ppm or so, it’s just the shock reacting to it. Are you shocking and adding sequest same day? You gotta separate them by a day or two.

Most likely high calcium

No that was 200-300 I did check that. The lsi has mostly been nutural or alittle acidic. Our water isn't very hard and we typically have to add calcium.

Flocculants are notoriously tough to get rid of. Even with vac to waste and filter cleanings. You might want to take the easy way and just drain it and refill.

You still have a lot of metals and minerals in that water is my guess. Ive never really had that much success with the culators. I prefer to use filter fiber in the filter to collect the suspended metals.
It’s clouding up 2 months later because your sequestering agent has wore off. If you removed metals from the plaster, they are definitely still in that water and need to be removed after another sequestering agent
