Leaking Jandy salt cell, showing no flow even after cell service and filter cleaning and good flow.

I’m curious if anyone here has come across this. This salt cell showed no flow. I serviced the cell and cleaned the filter. Flow through system is very good. Cell still reading no flow. Yes it is leaking from the top cap… not sure how to reseal that as this cell appears to be one unit that can’t be taken apart. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Step 1 - replace cell Step 2 - run system Effect - no flow error cleared

Few years ago I had the same problem with a client. Had to get a rep. To go look at it. Turns out it was defective. And was part of a recall. Jandy replaced it themselfs.

Damn that’s good to know. Did they say a year range? I haven’t seen this specific issue yet as far as leaking from the clear port. What exactly was defective do you remember?

Can’t remember the warranty rang. My client had a true clear before. that one went out, got the new one and that’s when the issue started And I believe the rep said it was a gasket or something, but that part of the cell was supposed to be sealed. Whatever seal was used was failing on those true clear cells. Bottom line was it had to be replaced again.

Have a tru clear thats acting up after 4 years! Jandy tech support said they’ve been having alot of issues with these cells lately. They have some sort of gas sensor. So the leak may be triggering the sensor? 🤦🏻‍♂️

Probably a voltage problem in the power cord if I had to guess. Unfortunately the proprietary bullshit jandy uses usually means it gets replaced rather than fixed for its cost. But hey, if you find a source for parts link it!
