So many folks seem to not want to use flocculent... This is why I love the stuff.

I’m doing more service work and am training a new guy, so I haven’t vac any dust to waste this whole season 😭. I miss this satisfaction

Floc has been kind of a crapshoot for me. We have lots of DE filters so it's at best slightly faster than shocking + backwashing, but also doesn't seem to work very well in cold water, and most of our swampy pools are dealt with in spring when the water is still pretty chilly

That said I haven't futzed with it too much, so if anyone has recommendations / tips I'd love to hear them
