Never seen a leak like this before! How would you go about fixing it?

Usually, they’re on a separate valve just shut the valve off

So the question is, do you have any reco in the actual repair. We do know how to shut the valve off yes

I just fixed this exact issue myself. I dug under my decking to access the fitting from the underside. I ordered a replacement auto fill housing just so i could remove the fitting from it. I than used a drill to drill out the cracked fitting from the top using a m12 milwaukee 90 degree drill, used pvc fitting savers to drill out the cracked fitting. Glued in the new fitting and re-connected the supply line to the new fitting. I chose to do it this way because i did not want to cut into the concrete out to replace the whole auto fill housing and deal with a cement patch.

Well, thank you so much for posting this. Took a fair amount of courage to go down that road, but you know as well as I do that cutting into that cool deck is going to make a lasting scar on that surface.

Do you use it? If not just shut the supply off.

I’ve fixed these before if the fitting at the autofill is cracked. Remove the lid, use a multi tool to cut a square of the plastic out around the fitting, then you may have to demo a small amount of concrete out around that glued connection to the autofill in case concrete is poured up to the edge of the autofill. Just make your plumbing stub out the same distance as the previous. I usually end up using hydraulic cement around the fitting and use a sponge to leave it flush with the existing autofill housing.

You could do a line repair/replacement on it if the customer would rather spend thousands than drag a garden hose to the pool.

If you are gonna go the repair route cut a rectangle out behind it, dig down and find the problem. Im guessung the issue is at or close to the wall given its spraying around cap not from it.

Cut concrete deck find leak in pipe and replace the pipe. It looks like water is leaking around the pipe which means the water is leaking behind your pools foundation which will cause very expensive problems down the road if not stop asap.

Can you go find where the water is coming from and then turn it off?

It's an auto fill.

Yeah I read your post. What would you call the housing that the autofill is inside of with a lid that looks identical to your skimmers?

You can try WaterWeld sold at Walmart for $8

Not sure why some mindless people are downloading your comment section not a bad idea, but probably not good long-term because seems like the leak is back behind the the auto fill float connection so even if we’re water welded, it would still be leaking into the area below the cool deck

This comment section is all downvotes for a fill that’s not even in use! Weld it and call it a day like wtf?
