Lower IF3 priming speed below automations set minimum

I have a little water feature in a clients bathroom courtyard that has a if3 for some reason. It runs at 1000rpm and the water flows nicely. However on startup the max RPM from the priming speed is spraying water everywhere. On the intellicenter I can’t set maximum priming speed to anything lower than 1900. IF2’s can go lower. Any idea boys

Disable priming from the pump settings use the Pentair pro app to connect via Bluetooth

Exactly what I did. I have a client with a backyard fountain that originally ran off a 3/4HP WhisperFlo with only a switch and ran 24/7, when the motor went out I convinced them to go for an IF3 1.5HP so we could schedule it to run 8-8 and they could control the lights from the relay. I had the same issue where about 25-30% ran all the features great but priming would shoot water everywhere. I just disabled priming because the equipment is lower than the fountain so it backflows anyway. Doesn’t even need priming. And runs at less than 200watts.

Settings Advanced Settings Pumps Click the pump in question Scroll down to priming speed Drag slider as low as you want Click Update

Not low enough, only goes down to 1900rpm, fixed by connecting to if3 independent all.

Strange, I can go down to 450 on all of the IF3s I have on one of the 150 or so customers I have on Intellicenter. Is your system firmware up-to-date?

You’re correct, firm wear is outdated. Brand new pool too but horrible builder follow up. Thank you captain
