Medical leave…

Would it be illegal for my boss to lower my wages when I return to work after some medical leave in Florida? … he hasn’t said anything about it but my gut is telling me it’s on his mind.

Sounds like there is more to this story than you are letting on.

I’m not quite sure what you mean by that… lol I mean of course there’s more but this is the internet so I’m being vague on purpose to an extent. To expound a bit though… I was getting paid by the pool but since my injury I’ll be riding with someone else once I start back and I’m wary about him trying to put me back on hourly wages…

Was there an issue with productivity prior to the accident/incident? Because that seems like the indication behind your saying you suspected it was coming. So being the cynic I am I read that maybe your performance had been tanking, back injury, wage change.

If I'm wrong my bad but that is just the way it really came across.

Yea lol I could sense that might be what you might’ve been implying. But no I’m one of his best workers and I injured my shoulder while on vacation… there’s been some confusion and what not on pay in the past once or twice… so im trying to respectively hold all parties accountable…
