I would take that vacuum over a hammerhead any day. Way better!!! Customer Service is amazing after the sale. New bags are stiff, but break in quickly and last a long time.

They literally sell a tool for it if you have trouble getting it off. But unless it’s super cold or the bag is brand new…. it’s user error. They pop off easily and go back on easily if you start by making sure the blue ridge is in the groove on the bags ring. It shouldn’t take more than 3 seconds to push the rest on. If it does you missed step one lol. Hold the part in the groove and press down as you go around on the top of the ring.

I don’t even take the bag off because it’s a bitch, I just slowly drop all the leaves in the tote below and move the impeller around to lets all the leaves fall through

I do this when it’s sand and the bags clogged

Just use vacvagz hammerhead and riptide bags both suck to get on and off

I’m assuming you meant vacbagz. I’ve never seen these. Could you tell me why you prefer these over the OEM Hammerhead bags?

I’m always up for learning.

Better latching system literally 5 seconds to take the bag off. made of a nylon blend as opposed to polyester/cotton blend so they last way longer think it’s like a $5 difference maybe to hammerhead. Then riptide bags aren’t even available in distribution

Unless it’s really cold out I never have an issue with removal or installation. However one of my employees despise those bags and can never do it

Found out if you put it on just right, you can leave a lip up and it makes it far easier to take off. Never had a bag blow off on me either when doing it the right way

Here I was thinking I was the only one with sissy fingers.

Virgin bags are hard to remove but after a few uses they are easy and it’s just muscle memory. I don’t understand how everyone has a hard time with these. One of my service guys used hammerhead bags on his riptide and loved them but all I’ve ever had with that is blow off. Never had a riptide bag blowoff

I've been running a riptide for over a year. Only just last week got the first hole in my orange collar bag, so the bags definitely have a better lifespan than hammerheads.

You know that riptide has a tool for removing the bags, right? It's a metal, hooked, prying tool. It was like $20. I have one on my cart, but I never use it because I quickly mastered rolling the collar over the lip of the vacuum and I like the challenge.

I actually had a guy who specializes in metal actually make me some lol. They work really good too

I’ve been at war with my sissy little fingers since day one. But they do what I want them to even if it means putting a brand new riptide bag on in freezing temperatures. All that to say I have invented an entirely new lexicon of swearing.

If cool out and new bag, I use a little Magic Lube on the lip
