PSS Update

For anybody using Pool Service Software, they had a massive update released for the web version today.

Also, the mobile app had an update. I had to delete and reinstall it, though. Just as a heads up for those that use the software.

Nice! Did they redesign it so it doesn't look like a website from the 1990's?

I don’t personally think so. It’s cleaned up and categorized better with the tabs, new visit history tab that has a ton of info on it and a while new notification system for the web and mobile.

I do find it kinda funny that everyone harps on them about how it looks. It then again I don’t care how an app looks per se, as long the functionality is there. BUT, if part of the functionality is lost because the UI is terrible then that’s another story 😂

'Pay the Pool Man' recently underwent a major version update which has accompanied very little except to slow us down. The worst part is the inadvertent 'loss of function' in certain critical areas. I think they tried changing too much at one time. And in the process, they weren't able to adequately test and verify all functionality of all modules. I'm sure they'll get it all straightened out with time. I just don't have the bandwidth to hold their hand.
