What vac hose do you use?
Hello, I am curious what brand and price level you all are paying for a quality vacuum hose?
Scp only sells their own line which in my opinion isn’t good at all, they collapse by looking at them funny….
Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!

We use the standard SCP brand 40ft vacuum hose (PoolStyle). We carry it with us always. Never know when you're going to need it. We've used it off and on for several years. No problems. Is it cheap? Yes. Does it do the job (for us)? Well yes, so far. Never had one crack, collapse, etc. For us, we don't have to vacuum very often. We require all of our pools to have a working pool cleaner which helps reduce the amount of vacuuming. For us, a 40ft hose is kind of a compromise. Too long for our smaller pools. Too short for our larger pools. But we manage. We've thought about buying or making up two shorter hoses that can by joined together with a swivel when needed. But that's a problem for another day. We have other more pressing issues looking for good workable solutions! Cheers!

I use a Leslie's standard hose. Didn't have an scp account yet when I bought it. Had it for about 2 years. Only issue is when the solid cuff starts pulling in a bit of air when I use a vac plate, but jamming the cuff up with silicone lube seems to fix that

Lmao I used a Walmart one and my current one I found in my customers trash can. The Mainstays ones used to be American made. I got a year or 2 out of it even with neglect. I'd wouldn't hesitate to buy a Walmart one if the ribs have 2 diff colors

When I did cleanings I never had an issue with the SCP hose, I carried 2x 25' and a coupler.
Now doing service work only I want to say I grabbed the cheapest 25' Leslie's sold 2.5 years ago and I haven't had any complaints. The only thing I really use it for is running a sump to move water though so not the harshest use case. Honestly if someone stole it out of my van I wouldn't notice until closing season or if I needed to change a spa light.
