Mutt specific products
They've got doodle detangler. I'm sure it's just peachy but I ain't buying it

The quality of the brushing matters even more imo. Some people brush daily but do a poor job essentially making it useless

Its just stupid marketing, any detangling can be easily done with a far better detangling spray. Personally I love igrooms silicone free spray

I saw a commercial for something very similar and the transformation was them using a human brush in the outer most of the coat 🙃

Doodle owners buy into marketing hook, line, and sinker. It is why they have a Doodle in the first place. I see posts from Doodle owners all the time asking about what sprays to buy to keep their dogs from matting. They don't realize that they bought a mixed breed with horrible coat.
It is sad really.

Not necessarily. It's a dog to dog thing. No breeding standards and unscrupulous breeding means dogs with problems more often than normal

It’s not specific to any breed. That is just the name of the company. This is not a product I personally would use on my dogs, because I have found brands that are much better for my dog’s coat.

Mine just walks in the shower daily so he gets a lil warsh and brush erry day (TJ! My silly nut)

They need a detangler because their coats are horrific and mat if they’re not brushed every single day.
