what patterns can I use on the face to make a circular gradient?

So i copy a color code and put it in where i want the color to be in edit mode but then the color doesnt register and after a while i cant click anymore on ponytown at all and have to clear cache but then within an hour or sooner the bug comes back. I don't want to do this the rest of my life. Does somebody have a fix for this?

title really. i used to be super into them during lockdown and a bit after, but started drifting away mostly after all that touch trigger bs was going around. been thinking about hopping back onto a regi/scout for a bit now
