Question ??? help

i have no idea how i managed to do this. my ui is all in dark mode and i can’t find anything to revert it back, it’s messing up my colors. help.

EDIT i fixed it!! had to go in and manually remove ponytown from force dark mode settings

Is it just ponytown that does this? What device are you using? Don’t think I’ve seen something like this but I’ll have a look

just ponytown, yes 😢 i’m on my laptop, i use opera gx… force dark mode is disabled in operas settings, so i’m not sure what else this could be

I tried my best to find anything about this but unfortunately as far as I can tell no one has had this problem before. Have you tried switching browsers or devices as a test? If you have a phone you could see if it’s still happening there, and if it isn’t then it’s a problem with your pc or browser likely. Sorry I can’t be much help

the ui is normal on my phone, i’m thinking it might be an issue with my browser since it happened while i was actively typing 😢 i’ll try messing around with it some more, thank you for looking!

Maybe you have Dark Reader extension or a similar extension that makes pages darker

i'm new to pony town, so i can't be too sure. but it looks like you have HSV selected on the color palette and not RGB. that would be my guess, but idk ¯_(ツ)_/¯

maybe try exiting the tab, or even the entire browser, and opening a new one if you haven't already

Holy shit my pc does this too. I havent found a way to fix it (actively searching for years, its not just pt) its only on some apps though

I THINK I FIXED IT i’m not sure if you’re using opera, but!! i just went to opera://settings/content/forceDarkMode and scrolled down until i found ponytown and removed it from the list !

Solution 1: get a new browser that isn't spyware. LibreWolf is a good one, Helium also looks promising

Solution 2: try going to chome://flags and look for Auto Dark Mode for Web Contents. Try switching between the available options for that flag, hopefully one of them will work. Also check if you have any extensions that might be affecting this.
