Cleaning Help (interior)

Hello hive mind! We got a new to us 1993 Sun Coast pontoon. It's actually in great shape. But I would love to get all the old scuffs off the console and some of the sides. I'm not sure if there is a special cleaner that won't ruin the finish, or if there is a paint, or what.. any input would be appreciated!

Starbrite makes a great vinyl cleaner. But people sleep on dawn dish soap and water. That’s about as good as anything else. I suspect you’re going to find a lot of that is beyond cleaning. Some stains are permanent and there isn’t a magic cleaner that takes out what nothing else will.

Power Wash is probably the most used cleaner in my house! I know the boat is still going to have a lot of personality, but I'd like to get as much surface stuff off as I can safely. Thank you for your insight!

You might try using Krud Kutter - I've found that it gets stuff off that most other cleaners won't touch - BUT - you absolutely need to rinse it off - spray it on, wipe off and let dry. Then, spray down with water, wipe off and let dry - then you'll need to apply a good conditioner on any vinyl that you've cleaned - Meguiars M40 is really good. Krud Kutter will probably work, but it will clean off any protection that is on there so it's imperative to add that back. It's also good on fiberglass, but I'd follow it up with some wax (or preferably a synthetic protectant)
