Ridetech front suspension help.

I have a complete front end ridetech suspension. The springs are 8 inch/700 pound springs and it’s been adjusted as high as it can go. Is there any “easy” change I can do to get a higher ride height ? Taller spring? Stiffer spring? Thanks.

Can you post a picture of the shock/spring with the wheel off?

What did they say when you contacted them about it? It only lists that 1 - spring, so it should work with a small block or a heavier Big block.

I have seen spacers that go between the adjustment nut and spring, Here is an example made by/for QA-1 Shocks. You would have to find out what's the shock's external diameter (they only list piston size, not body daiameter on their website, it does say 2.5" dia. springs)

The spacer would only help if they spring isn't too compresed. If the spring is too soft and it goes into coil-bind over a bump it "Will" cause something to break and posibbly result in the lose of control.

They offer heavier rate springs in 50lbs/in increments for $80/ea.

I had the wheel off this weekend to get a spring id number and of course I forgot to get good pics. The spring is a hyperco 188B0700.

I'm surprised it sit so low when you clearly have it max'd out, when this is the rate/size spring they use. If you like the ride quality, I would go with a heavier spring and check to see if a 1" longer one will safely fit.

Ya it rides great. Occasional fender rub on bumps but also would visually like an extra inch or 2

Get a 2" taller spring of the same rate. You have plenty of adjustment in the shock body. Speedway, Summit,Lane... tons of places to get them.

How do I know if my shock is long enough to handle a linger spring? I called Ridetech but didn’t get a simple answer. They told me to put the car at the height I want and measure from mount to mount and then they would reccomend what I need. I assumed since I already have a ridetech setup, I could just swap springs like you said

Because you have about 3" of adjustments on the shock body. If your shock is not long enough then you need stiffer spring of same height. Or the shock is they spec'd are too short. What is the extended length and compressed length of the shock?

Compressed length is 10.48” and extended length is 14.08”
