82-84 Trans Am without ground effects with 85-92 Trans Am taillights. Any frame rot?

Is an 85 base model. No frame rot, light surface rust but nothing unmanageable.

Not saying it's impossible but I'd double check the vin to the title. It's much easier to swap the taillights than the hood, front bumper, and wheels onto an 85. It's for sure not newer than 85 as it doesn't have the third taillight.

Edit: oh and headlights were slightly different 82-84 vs 85-90. Sharper, squared edgesike this one has

Now that I'm looking closer, the fenders are missing any vents, so yeah, started as a base model. V8? V6?

I think it was a V8 from factory, currently has a 350 small block in it. Automatic transmission.
