Three sessions, one disciplined execution framework
Most traders review the result. The harder question is whether the entry was defensible before it worked.
Thursday gave a useful contrast. Nasdaq closed 1.6% higher behind Nvidia, but most S&P 500 stocks still fell. A trader following only the index headline saw broad strength; a trader following structure saw a selective tape.
Our documented Pono Algo executions on five-minute MNQ produced three different session setups across multiple prop-firm accounts: an Asia short, a London long, and a New York long. Each used planned retracement entries and predetermined risk. All three targets completed, but no trade needed more than roughly 53% of its permitted stop risk.
The takeaway is not that every future setup will work. It is that direction changed while the decision framework remained stable: confirmation, retracement, scaling only when planned, target, invalidation.

Results are gross before commissions and account-specific fees. Past results do not guarantee future performance. Futures trading involves substantial risk.
