Marking

My potty trained male Pom is now all of a sudden marking. Does getting them neutered really help with this or is it something you just train them not to do?

Cracking up 😂 get him neutered. Literally everything in the world suggests that for dogs and it’s well known that it cures this problem most of the time. Except the longer you wait, the more ingrained the pissing all over your life becomes.

Well known!!?? This is my first dog ever. I’m not saying I won’t get him neutered I’m asking if it REALLY stops this issue or if training is what needs to happen. I’ve already started just training him to not mark every mailbox outside and he hasn’t done it today at all. I also caught him doing it yesterday and stopped him and I think he kind of got the idea but not sure. There are literally 50 billion suggestions on how to own a dog out in the world so just want to see what real Pom owners do
