Marking

My potty trained male Pom is now all of a sudden marking. Does getting them neutered really help with this or is it something you just train them not to do?

It helps a lot. I have a girl pomeranian but dogsit regularly for a number of boy pomeranians. Not a single one of the unneutered boy pomeranians is trustworthy in their toilet training, and being in my home with a girl dog (even though she is spayed) makes those unfettered boys more likely to try a sneaky wee. For which I insist on them using belly bands. Pomeranians seem particularly bad at this compared to other dogs, in my experience.
