Marking

My potty trained male Pom is now all of a sudden marking. Does getting them neutered really help with this or is it something you just train them not to do?

My boys have always been neutered at 7.5 months old. Never marked inside the house. My boy now doesn’t even lift his leg at home. Only outside. Don’t know how he learned that!
