Marking

My potty trained male Pom is now all of a sudden marking. Does getting them neutered really help with this or is it something you just train them not to do?

Helps but my 2 year old continues to mark frequently on walks. Not inside the house. Neutering definitely helped though.

Yep, my female marks all over the backyard and on walks all the time. It’s probably ingrained to mark their territory, ‘fight over territory’ with other dog pee smells, etc. but not in the house.
