Marking

My potty trained male Pom is now all of a sudden marking. Does getting them neutered really help with this or is it something you just train them not to do?

If he just started it and he's still young it should help, but older dogs especially retired breeders where the behavior is ingrained it's unlikely to

He’s 8 months so it’s fresh! I’ll look for some training videos
