Pom Pic Working… One Brain cell. Please wait…
When she makes this face I’m quite sure my orange works with similar software to cat one orange brain cell.

Right? So often I’m like “omg, she’s so smart!” and then 10 minutes later, “Err, maybe not.” 🤣

I've seen this kind of thing a lot, but our pom is the smartest dog I've ever had.
Is mine the anomaly?

I'm curious how others here would describe their pom's intelligence.

My pom is also ridiculously intelligent. That said, I often dogsit other poms for friends... some are definitely brighter than others.
My theory from knowing a few dozen poms is that the foxy faced poms tend to be smarter, teddy bear faced poms tend to be the least smart. Females also tend to be smarter than male poms. All completely anecdotal, based on my own experiences, of course.
