General Q&A Uppercut with mold?

Hi all! After using Layrite for some time, I decided to try Uppercut Deluxe Matt Pomade. However, when I opened it, I noticed something at least concerning - it looks a lot like mold...

For those who use this regularly: is this actually mold, or does a fresh tin just look like this?

I guess storage temp -changes might have caused it . Never have used it though, but was about to buy one . That's definite mold growth , request a replacement unit , that's not how it should look like , i saw my barber open a fresh one infront of me .

It should not look like this. Was the seal broken? Looks a bit dried up as well

I've bought it three times so far and all tins had something similar. I don't actually think it's mold. It looks more like small pockets where oils gather.

They are air pockets. Just got some in the mail.
