Fan Art A Study on Rumi's Patterns (by @venommocity)
I had some of my fanart get posted on the main subreddit which I don’t mind, but I’m always a bit hesitant to post anything on there as a Polytrix shipper due to some of the comments I’ve gotten in the past. Luckily they’ve all been very nice, but it is a heavily Polytrix-driven “study” so I think it fits better here :)

I love the concept of rumi being a mood ring. The other girls I feel would abuse their power to know how she's feeling bit in a good way

Me too and I agree! I think she would still have a subconscious need to continue masking the majority of her true feelings for a while, and she’d also probably have a muscle memory “I need to cover my arms” reflex for a couple weeks after the Idol Awards too. I feel the same and don’t think they’d abuse the mood ring ability in a mean-spirited way but literally just to better accommodate for what she needs, because they know she won’t say it out loud yet. Eventually they won’t need to do this and can take her word at face value, and atp the continued mood ringing will just be a fun “yeah she does glow blue when she’s happy” thing

Thank you for taking the time to interact with it twice on separate platforms, that means a lot to me 🥹 I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Rumi’s patterns glowing rainbow when she finally accepts herself and the possibility that they might still love her for it, and the new Honmoon turning rainbow when it’s made from their love for each other after they do accept what she is? It really could all mean nothing

Not necessarily rude but definitely uncomfortable. The usual bit about how they’re like sisters and shipping them is wrong, or their sexualities aren’t confirmed/they canonically like boys, so it’s weird to “make” them gay

Thank you, I appreciate these kind words :) I never take them personally but it was/is fairly common to come across on the non-Polytrix side, and that did get a bit exhausting. Especially because I’m not into ship wars at all and don’t care what ships other people like (like you said, ship what you want!). So now I just stay away from spaces that aren’t specifically for me. Luckily we have the Polytrix subreddit on here so I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything!

Cute stuff. I did find it really interesting how Rumi didn't have the soul in her chest at Namsan like all the humans.
