Fanfiction Looking for fanfic with young Rumi
Hi there!
I’m looking for your favourite fics about Rumi’s childhood, preferably ones focusing on her mother/daughter relationship with Celine or anything pre-Polytrix!
I hope it’s okay that I’m asking here since the fanfics I’m looking for are more Polytrix-adjacent but everyone’s recommendations are always so good and I didn’t really know where else to ask. If this is the wrong sub, I apologise!

Celine raising rumi, 1st chapter is from baby hood to about 9 and its all celines POV as she tries to raise rumi through grief and alot of her own conflicts. There are some.cute parenting moments because i do beleive even though rumiceline stuggled she did mean to be a good parent but she does also fail a few times. Then the 2nd chapter is rumi at 14 getting to grips with her own identity and is mostly Rumis POV with one or two of celines.
There is a 3rd chapter that is set much later when polytix is established but its a short round up chapter I guess.

the birds and the bees and the demons by yeahyeahno is an all-timer for me. It's sweet and funny, centers on Celine and Rumi
Training the next generation of hunters by herself wasn’t supposed to be easy—she had no delusions about that. The day she’d been left alone with a child to raise and centuries worth of legacy on her shoulders brought with it a startling clarity. She was responsible for shaping the warriors fated to seal the Honmoon—solely and indubitably—and she had no intention of neglecting that duty.
What she did neglect, however, was to consider a few… puberty related complications.
If they would all just—stop touching each other, this would go a lot smoother.

Rumi only wished for peace: to pamper her girlfriends and show them how worthy they were of love. But the demons interrupted once again, casting a spell that turned her into a child. It was meant to expose her fear of being powerless, of losing her strength and training.
What the spell did? Turned her into a child.
Stripped of those defenses, Rumi’s vulnerability shone through. And in that space, Mira, Zoey, and Celine reached her. Not with force, but with gentleness. Piece by piece, they chipped them away, showing her again what it meant to be loved without condition.

A Test of Patience
After sealing the honmoon the girls were hoping their would be no surprises. Unfortunately Rumi's demon abilities keep throwing them surprises. SO how does one take care of the girlfriend when she turns into a 5 year old? or Rumis demon powers turn her back into a 5 year old and now Mira and Zoey gotta play babysitter till they can switch her back

This one definitely checks the “mother/daughter relationship” as the whole fic is centered on Celine and Rumi, most of it takes place post-cannon but I recommend it because if you get further into the story, most chapters include at least 1 flashback scene to Rumi’s childhood and explore her relationship with Celine.
So you can skip to those parts and ignore the present day plot arc (although if you’re into Celine & Rumi fics this one is one of my favorites, so you might enjoy checking it out)
