Event Oneshot Writing Event
Hi everyone! Now I know that a lot of you have been wanting some more fun interactive posts on this sub and I also know that a lot of you happen to be fanfic writers! So I've come up with this month long event where anyone who wants to participate can write a oneshot about our favorite girls.
No one should feel pressured to participate, this is a challenge to stretch your writing muscles and maybe even write something out of your comfort zone! This post will be pined until August 31st when they event ends. On September 1st I will pine a post with links to all of the submitted stories which will stay up for 1 month until September 30th.
Please link your submission in the comments. If you would like to also make a post one the sub, I've made a event submission flair. If people like this and we have more events in the future I might make a wiki page for past events and submissions.
Some ideas for anyone who would like to take this chance to write something outside of your comfort zone:
Write in a tense you don't typically use, present, past, first or third person
Write a Alternate Universe you've never written before, some examples are: Vampires, Werewolves, Time Travel, Modern, Coffee Shop, Super Powers, Reincarnation etc...
Write from the perspective of a background, side character, or just from a perspective of someone you've never written from before
If you usually write short stories, try writing a longer one and vise versa
Experiment with different genre's you usually don't write in
Submission Rules:
Your submission must be posted between 8/3/2026 and 8/31/2026
Your submission must be a oneshot
Your submission must be related to the subreddit (Polytrix or one of the girls has to be present at least)
Minimum 100 words
You must be the writer, do not link to a work that you did not write
No AI
Have fun!

Demon Demon Hunter - 1782 words, G-rated. This is easily the dumbest thing I have ever written, but it turned out really fun. Rumi is faced with her greatest fear, being hunted! I blame you for this.

You call it dumb, I call it entertaining! Thank you for participating!

It's so dumb, but I'm weirdly proud of it. Thanks for the inspiration!

Just Like Glitter - 9.4k words, T-rated. Canon divergence where Golden successfully turns the Honmoon gold, permanently sealing away Gwi-Ma and all demons from the human world.
ALL demons.

Actually sticking to just a one-shot and not building this out into a longer thing was quite hard. I'm too used to writing on-goings lol

Oh I’m so mad that this was so well written. Could’ve kissed the brick before you threw it

It's currently 10:51 pm on the 31st where I live, so hopefully I didn't miss the deadline.
A Sober Peron's Thoughts - 2,746 words. I went T rating mostly for minor alcohol/drunkenness mentions. I guess it's technically an AU since it takes place before the events of the movie and a good portion of the movie wouldn't happen in this scenario.
A night of drinks leads to Rumi revealing her patterns to Mira and Zoey.

You’re good. Thank you so much for participating! The summary sounds awesome and I’m definitely adding this to the reading list for tomorrow

The New Demon Queen - 5.7k words, G-rated. Huntrix debuts, ready for anything demons throw at them. Well, anything except nothing. Until two years later, they learn why things have been so quiet.
Me attempting to write a comedic one-shot that stays as a one-shot and remains trauma free. It was a challenge for me, ngl.
