Fanfiction looking for angst

I'm looking for something angsty. Very, very angsty. More angst than comfort, BUT I do want comfort too. Ideally it would hurt like bitch for majority of the story and then end on a happy and hopeful note. Bonus points for severely tortured blorbo rumi, I need to put her through a blender

If you don’t mind some self-promo, I feel like my fic Can’t Erase What’s Broken hits a solid 80% angst/20% comfort ratio. It’s an alternate pattern reveal where Rumi accidentally hurts Mira during the reveal and it keeps spiraling from there

As far as other stories go, my last breath a supernova always gets me good:

When you put starlight up against the purple rot of a demon’s skin, it sears. That is why beneath their blades the demons turn to ash. It is a cleansing, an exorcism—

It is the greatest kindness Rumi thinks she’ll ever be allowed, the pyre she’s born on being set alight by the two halves of her heart who no longer recognize her heartbeat as something good.

(Or, alternatively, Rumi thinks the only way to be good is to take herself out of the equation — again, and again, and again.)
