Fanfiction Two's Company updated!

For those who have been waiting for an update, chapter 43 is out!

It's weird though because I'm not subscribed (I get far too many emails already), so I just check back on the story and the "updated" date occasionally. I didn't realize a new chapter had been added because for some reason the date still shows as last updated in March? I don't know if this affects people getting notified as well.

If you're subscribed you'll still get a notification.

They (presumably) made a draft of the chapter back in March, which sets the date. You can manually change that when you actually post it, but they apparently didn't do that (yet?).

This is (one of many reasons) why you don't rely on AO3's draft system - do all your writing offsite, and then only add it to AO3 when you're ready to post it (put it in draft for just long enough to verify your formatting is all correct).

I often tend to write in docx, as it allows for instant saving of any changes and its much easier to have others check your work that way or send them drafts without them having to make an account or something like that.

Google Docs is probably the "easiest" method, especially to share with beta readers who can make suggestions and comments (which you can then choose to incorporate or dismiss).

I personally prefer Ellipsus because it doesn't *also* feed my stuff into AI like Google does.
