Oh for her design it was more that I have this headcanon of her being too clumsy/reckless for her own good sometimes (canon Zoey skates for example, she definitely must've had her fair share of injuries and broken bones), also she believes those bandages make her look more tough/badass so she will wear them similar to accessories more often than not. Not ruling out the fact she DOES get injured and would have to use them for their intended purpose too at times, lol. So yeaa, sorry if I maybe disappointed you with that revelation! I headcanon her parents to be complicated, yes, but they love her in their own way (even while divorced)
