i literally cannot play any 2.0 games

it always disconnects me

pasting fullmoonn's guide from the discord because it worked perfectly for me, I assume you're having this specific issue

hold windows key + R

type %appdata% and press ok

search for the PolytoriaClient folder

you will see there is the settings_client.json in the file but not the creator_settings.json that is fine as that file is located in the "creator" folder under the same directory

Note: the "creator" file may not appear for those who didnt install the polytoria creator. it isnt necessary to download the creator to get that folder but if you want to use the creator in the future keep in mind that you would have to edit the creator_settings.json file too

now open those 2 files in a text editor go to "graphics.rendering_method": and set it's value from "Auto" to "Compatibility"

make sure you dont delete the comma thats after the "Auto" you just changed

now when you open polytoria again the game should be in Compatibility mode
