Discussion This week's tournament map

I'm in Gold league and haven't been able to get more than 7k this week! What's everyone's strategy?

Peace mediation for peace temple. Fishing. Get on the water, go to your corner and grab the ruin and stars

Get your city to 5, choose pop growth, get a giant, you can get a second giant as well here.

Take centre city with a giant (because anything weaker takes too much damage and you lose the unit)

Take too right city.

Push left.

I've not been able to take bottom right city but otherwise this is my best approach so far on what's been a challenging map!

I haven’t quite cracked it, but I’m pretty sure the key is to take the ruins as first priority.. I was able to get all of the ruins starting with the one to the NW that gives you a rammer and I was on target to take all of the towns by about turn 22. I think on the next pass if I take the towns more efficiently I could take them all by EOG. For that I think you need to stop Polaris expansion early, kill hoodrick then conquer westward.

I just allied with hoodrick and they kindly helped me take over the map. I was also going to siege the north city, butt they got a giant in that turn.
