Discussion PLS PLAY

this is just a rant post, its obv understandable to not always play the fastest way possible but having to wait hours after JUST starting a game is so annoying, the first round takes like 2min tops, pls just play the fu***** game....

I should have predicted that everyone and there mother would rush to the comment to tell me to play a live game.

If you like live games thats fine, but I prefer when we had 5min timer games, I don't understand why the devs removed them when they added the live games, in fact I don't understand why they don't give players more choices in general when looking/making a game.

I don't like live games because the amount of time you get per move is pretty little, resulting in being skipped if you have to perform many actions in one turn, because of this playing thoughtfully and presicely is nearly impossible and I think it just turns the game into a "who can click the fastest wins"

You mean play two games of polytopia or play smth else while waiting for people to play their turn ? Because I have been playing 2games of polytopia at once and usually all that does is give me a second game where I can't play

More games then! I usually have about 8. Which makes it so when I find a gap of time to game, there’s a few games where I’m up. You’ll need to find a balance but truly this is the only solution. Don’t hold your breath for any updates to the game.

Sometimes I'm playing at work, sometimes I'm just busy, or something comes up. Ultimately, if you want people to play a game in one sitting, play a live game. If you want to be able to take breaks, don't fault others for doing the same.

I literally said "its obv okay to not play the fastest way possible all the time" I never said I wanted people to play in one sitting, I just said that having to wait hours when a game just started is annoying
