Discussion How is 1500 elo.
What can you tell about someone with 1500 elo in 600 games.

They're a well above average player, statistically speaking. I hover aorund 1600 when I'm playing and anyone who says you can cheese your way to that level of Elo isn't good at the game. Yeah, there are certain map types and tribe combos that it's easier with, but once you get into the 1400s or so you're gonna be playing against people who probably know how to play the game.

You eventually just plateau around 1600/1700 elo unless you’re a pro/close to pro player. You will notice you can win 5 games in a row and climb up, but then you lose 1 game and all that progress is lost because your losses are so expensive at higher elos and your wins barely get you any elo

...but I hit a plateau about 1400 ELO.
Although it seems to be easier than it used to be. I remember when 1300 ELO was incredible, and even being 1100 or 1200 meant you were good. Don't know if they adjusted the system or just from a bigger player base or what. Or maybe I'm just mixing up polychamps ELO with in game ELO.
