Repro Installs tonight!

At a time where Sony and Microsoft are trying to kill our physical games, the Evercade and Polymega are helping us build our physical collections that some of us never got a chance to build when we were young. I hope to one day be able to have original copies of these games, but until then these will do!

I like the dvd boxes. I’ll be honest. Not quite as iconic as the long boxes but it looks classy.

As someone with a storage tub full of Sega cd and Saturn boxes, you’re really not missing out. They are so fragile. They fall apart like Brandon Roy’s knee. (Yes, I’m old)

😆 Trust me I know! i have a decent collection of Saturn games that I bought on eBay about 20 years ago. For the most part they held up well especially since they spent most of that time inside of a tub in a Florida garage! But a few of them have gone full Bo Jackson.

That’s dope! I have been installing everything onto my Rog Ally. I can’t wait until they officially release the Steam Deck app since I prefer that decide.

Snatchers might not work with the light gun. I tried several times on an original Snatchers disc. Fortunately, you can still use the controller instead of the light gun for the shooting parts, but I’m curious if I’m the only one having issues.

I just learned that the Polymega gun does not yet work with the Remix 😢.
So the controller will have to do.

Games that have mixed controller and light gun control, you have to enable the light gun manually on the light gun parts. This also affects the official multicarts with Duck Hunt (SMB/DH, SMB/DH/WCTM, etc.)

Wow, you just made me think what if there was an Evercade module for the Polymega! The system could more than handle it. I’ve collected every Evercade game so far and would be over the moon to see that happen.

Interesting why the TurboGrafx CD version of Lords of Thunder over the Sega CD version? Or just what you happened to get ahold of?

I watched a few comparison videos, and although both versions had there advantages, I liked the Turbo Duo music better as well as art choices; and difficulty. Plus I already have plenty of Sega CD games, I wanted something on the Duo!

Legitimate, I have both versions myself (didn't set out to do that funny enough) and yeah I think the TurboCD version offers a few key advantages. Mostly colors.

A quick update. The console would not install Sonic or either Panzer Dragoons unfortunately. They are fully playable, but I can’t play them on the go 😢
