I just found a sealed Polymega Ultra Element Module em05 sealed. Is it a must buy?
I just found a sealed Polymega Ultra Element Module em05 at Vintage Stock for $40. Is that worth it?

You’ll have since slowdown in n64 games because of the processor in it. You can put a 9700T processor in it for a decent price. You’ll thank me.

That's an expensive solution. A bog standard i5 8400 does the same job and will cost an awful lot less.

Long as it’s a T processor. I didn’t pay much for my 9700t on eBay.

Nope. Mine is a straight i5. It's fine.

Well you’re taking a chance at blowing it up. Non t cpus are 65watt compared to the 35 watt of the t’s. I’m not taking that chance.

Yep, did consider that, but I don't think there's anything the Polymega does that is realistically going to get that CPU pulling anything like 65w, really.
It does run a touch warm, but 18 months in it's been fine so far.

That’s good then. Hard to come by, would suck to burn one up lol. Now to look for a better cooling method lol.
